A large 18th century Georgian mahogany demi-lune shaped sideboard.
The sideboard is very decorative with an inlaid, banded and segmented top that has a box wood cross grained square edge.
The sideboard comprises a hinged door cupboard at each end and a wedge shaped centre drawer flanked by two deep drawers.
The interesting wedge shaped centre drawer slides on a central rail or runner.
The drawers and cupboards are cross banded, are box wood inlaid and have circular brass ring handles.
The sideboard stands on six square tapering box wood strung legs that have block toes.
This fine and attractive serving sideboard is in good condition with working locks and keys for the two end cupboards. (Circa 1790)
