George II Style Wig Stand
An early 20th century George II style mahogany jug & bowl or wig stand.
The stand has three cabriole shaped legs joining at a low platform where a jug or ewer could sit.
Two tiers of turned spindle supports hold the circular bowl stand separated by a central platform with a pair of small drawers.
A pottery bowl would sit in the top that would be used to hold a powdered wig.
The wig stand is in good condition, the jug and bowl that come with it has a repair to the spout of the jug. (Circa 1900)
