A large Victorian pottery octagonal shaped Stilton cheese dish.

The dish is decorated with lilies around the side of the lid and the centre of the plate in "Flow Blue" with gilt detail.

The knob handle is in the shape of a bunch of stems that are blue with gilt decoration.

The cheese dish is in good condition with no maker's mark just the number 2696 in blue. (Circa 1870)
