George II Lady's Kneehole Dressing Table
An 18th century George II mahogany kneehole dressing table.
The table has one long drawer and six small side drawers.
The kneehole recess has a cupboard with a single door and a fixed concave edged shelf inside.
Tucked away above the recessed cupboard is a slim drawer with a shaped front edge.
The drawers are oak lined and all the brass handles and escutcheons are original.
The top of the table has a fine mould or 'caddy edge', stands on bracket shaped feet and is made from chocolate coloured Cuban mahogany.
The dressing table is in very good original condition, the kneehole cupboard has a 19th century replaced lock. (Circa 1750)
