George IV Marble Top Console Table
An early 19th century George IV marble top rosewood mirror back console table.
The Table has an original variegated rouge colour oblong marble top.
The table has a plinth base with a concave centre and its original mirror plate to the back.
The deep rosewood frieze below the marble is supported on a substantial pair of turned rosewood pillars that have lappet floral carving and taper to the top.
The console table is in good condition, the marble has some old marks and small nicks from use.
There is some spotting on the original mirror plate. (Circa 1835)
