George IV Rosewood Writing Table

An early 19th century George IV rosewood writing or library table.

The table top has three panels inset with a green leather writing surface.

The centre panel is hinged so it can lift up and has an adjustable back support.

The table has three drawers that are mahogany lined and have a working lock and key.

The table stands on a pair of platform bases that are raised on bun feet and are joined by a decoratively turned cross rail.

The table is designed to free stand and has dummy drawers to the opposite side.

The table is in good condition, the three leather writing surfaces are old replacements and does have some old marks to the top from use. (Circa 1830)
