George IV Segmented Top Lamp Table

An early 19th century George IV mahogany lamp table.

The table has a segmented veneered top and a broad cross banded edge of root wood.

The table stands on a platform base with concave sides and the top surface of the base is veneered with matching root wood from the top.

The platform is lifted on three turned bun feet and the table stalk is octagonal and tapering.

The table is in good condition.

This item has been used as a prop in the television detective drama "VERA" which is mostly filmed in Northumberland. The episode it will appear in "Blood Money" will be shown in 2020.
