Georgian Mahogany Centre Table

A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany circular centre or dining table.

The table has a round top with a reeded edge, a broad satinwood cross banded edge and box wood and ebony line inlay detail.

The quadruped base has cabriole legs with an ebony edge and good quality brass toes and casters.

The table top has a gilt brass release catch that allows the top to tip on its mahogany block.

The table is made from very good quality timbers throughout, the under rails and the block are made from solid mahogany and the brass fittings are well made.

The table is in good condition and has been sympathetically restored. (Circa 1800)
