Georgian Marquetry Card Table
An early 19th century Georgian rosewood turn over top card table.
The table has a fine marquetry and rosewood cross banded edge of flowers and foliage that is beautifully executed.
The top rotates to reveal a storage area for card and games and turns over to the playing surface that is green baize covered.
The table base has four short sabre legs with gilt brass casters and turned rosettes supporting an oblong concave sided platform that has a pea carved edge.
The centre column has ring turned decoration and a fine carved collar to its base.
This well made very good quality card table is in excellent condition. (Circa 1825)
