Sheraton Mahogany Patience Table
A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany and satinwood patience or games table.
The table is satinwood cross banded with panels of satinwood the top of each box wood edged leg.
The table has a single double fronted drawer that is mahogany lined and has brass battle-axe drop handles.
The double drawer look is repeated on all three other sides but all are faux drawers.
The top has a pair of hinged opening leaves which have pull out rests to each side, the polished mahogany playing surface has line inlay decoration.
The table is well constructed from heavy quality mahogany and the drawer has a working lock and key. (Circa 1800)
