Georgian Mahogany Cheval Mirror

An early 19th century Georgian mahogany floor standing cheval dressing mirror.

The mirror will rise and fall within the frame, it can also swivel and has a gilt brass handle to the top.

The top of the mirror stand is decorated with wonderful gilt brass 'flame' finials and has concertina action candle sconces at the sides.

The original bevel edged mirror plate is held in a cross grained frame that has a mahogany panelled back.

The mirror stand has four downward swept tapering square legs that have gilt brass casters.

The cheval mirror is in very good original condition, the width does not include the candle sconces. (Circa 1810)
