Regency Gilt Wood Pier Glass
An early 19th century Regency gilt wood pier glass.
The mirror plate has a bevel edge and surrounded by an ebonised wood slip that has a reeded detail.
The gilt wood frame has a break back overhanging cornice with a double moulded edge and small leaf decoration.
The panel below the cornice has a central mask with a star to each side and the front of the frame has a pair of spiral twist columns that have plinth bases.
The frame is in original un-restored condition with a few minor chips to the gilt. (Circa 1825)
