Regency Gilt Wood Pier Glass
An early 19th century Regency gilt wood and gesso pier glass.
The mirror plate is held in an oblong frame with a pair of vertical Corinthian pillars, one on each side and a concave shell decoration at the top.
The cornice has a slight overhang that breaks forward above the pillars and has small star or flower detail.
The gilt wood is in good condition with some old repairs to chips and cracks. (Circa 1825)
