Regency Rosewood Overmantel Mirror
An early 19th century Regency rosewood overmantel wall mirror.
The original mirror plate has a moulded and gilded slip with a reeded rosewood inner slip.
The main frame is rosewood veneered and cross banded with four spiral turned rosewood pillars as decoration.
The top has a central oblong panel and two end panels with the pillars in-between and mounted on the panels are embossed and gilt brass flower and thistle decorations.
The base of the mirror is lifted on two gilt brass balls.
The mirror is completely origial with some spotting and aging to the mirror plate. (Circa 1820)
