A 19th century 'Tole Ware' and brass mechanical bellows.
The tole ware body of the bellows is decorated with flowers and foliage and has heavy brass edges, rivets and hand wheel.
The hand wheel has a leather insert that rubs against the centre spindle to turn the fan in the bellows and has a turned wood knob handle.
The nozzle at the outlet end of the bellows has a brass spout and the whole nozzle is removable.
This very decorative mechanical bellows is in sound but used condition. (Circa 1850)
