Anglo Indian Ebony Desk Standish
A late 19th to early 20th century Anglo Indian ebony and bone inlaid standish.
The standish has a drawer to the front with a working lock and key and a key pull to open.
The top is fitted with inkwells, a candle holder supported by a carved ebony reclining elephant, a rule with pewter and bone inlay, pen trays and stamp compartments with ebony and carved bone elephant lids.
The standish is raised on bracket feet and finished to all sides so would look good on a partner's desk.
The standish is in very good original condition. (Circa 1900)
