An early 19th century Regency period silhouette of a Gentleman.
The silhouette is fitted in a gilded brass oval frame with a domed glass cover and is held in a black lacquered oblong frame.
The frame hangs from a gilded brass ring that has an embossed detail of oak leaves and an acorn.
The silhouette is in good condition, the frame does have a chip in the top left hand corner. (Circa 1820)
