Leather Desk Correspondence Case

An early 20th century George V dark red leather correspondence case or folder.

The case, which looks almost unused, when closed has a chrome plated locking catch that has it's original key.

The interior has a central blotter with paper, above which is an ink well with it's locking chrome case and a pen storage box.

To either side of the blotter is a propelling pencil and pen, to the left are pockets to hold stamps, envelopes and paper and to the right are similar pockets and a paper knife.

The case is in very good condition apart from one corner of the blotting paper holder is loose.

The case came out of the 'Hermitage Estate' in Hexham, Northumberland.
