An early 20th century mahogany cased barograph.

The case has satinwood and boxwood inlay with bevelled glass while the barograph has an eight day clockwork movement that rotates the cylindrical barrel and records the rising and falling of the barometric pressure on a paper record sheet. The case has a single drawer to store new and used record sheets and a glass ink bottle to replenish the nib of the recording arm. The barograph has a retailers label inside Whyte Thomson & Co Glasgow".

The barograph is in good condition and comes with spare paper record sheets and ink.
