An early 19th century George III mahogany turn over top tea table.

The table is in the style of 'Gillows' of Lancaster and stands on four reeded legs with turned decoration at the top and bottom ending in brass casters.

The rear two legs have beech wood gates that open to support the turnover top.

The front of the table has a raised panel decoration which has a cross banded inlay and a strip of inlay that continues along the bottom edge of the frieze and across the top of each leg.

The table is in good condition and is made from fine quality mahogany.

The top has the odd old mark and a small chip to the mahogany next to the right hand hinge. (Circa 1820)
