Three early 19th century porcelain plates with a hand painted exotic bird in the centre.

The plates have shaped and embossed edges, decorated with gilt and have a different exotic bird on each plate.

The plates have no markings but each has the name of the bird painted on the back, Golden Oriole, Sulphur Crested Cockatoo and Kuhl's Coriphilus, along with the number 673.

The plates are in good condition with some rubbing of the gilt on the rims. (Circa 1840)
