Victorian Papier Mâché Tray

A mid 19th century Victorian papier mâché black lacquered tray.

They tray is serpentine in shape with dished sides and is beautifully decorated with hand painted flowers and foliage.

The hand painted decoration is highlighted with gilt and has a gilt detail to the top of the rim.

The tray is in good condition with some old marks and crazing.
