18th Century Opaque Spiral Twist Glass

 

An 18th century Georgian double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass.

The glass has a bucket shaped bowl, a twelve ply spiral band outside an opaque gauze stem and a conical foot with a pontil mark underneath.

This very good glass is in excellent condition. (Circa 1765)
