A 19th century Victorian glass dump or paperweight.
The Sunderland dump is decorated inside with blown bubbles and has a pontil mark underneath.
The word "Dump" is used because these were made at the end of the day when the unused molten glass that was left would have been "Dumped".
The dump is in good original condition. (Circa 1880)
