An early 20th framed etching of the famous White Horse Close in Edinburgh by A P Thomson (1887-1962).
The etching is held in a slim black frame with a label on the back "White Horse Close Edinburgh Original Etching by A P Thomson".
The close, home to the White Horse Inn, was just off Cannon Gate and the staging point for transport to London and the south.
The etching and frame are in good condition, with a few chips to the lower edge and the slip mount is slightly discoloured at the edges. (Circa 1930)
