Edwardian Silver Plated Soup Tureen

An early 20th century Edwardian silver plated soup tureen and ladle.

The tureen has an oval moulded base and a serpentine edge to the top rim and a pair of open handles.

The lid is oval with a plain edge of a slot to go over the ladle when it is in the tureen.

The underside has 'EPNS', a maker's mark for Atkin Brothers and the number 5415.

The large label has a shaped edge to match the tureen rim and a registration mark underneath 'RD 369245' for the year 1902.

The tureen is in good condition. (Circa 1902)
