An early 20th century Edwardian Glasgow sterling silver four piece tea set.

The tea set is made in a Regency style and comprises a circular tea pot with an ivory handle on a sterling silver stand that has and ivory centre standing on four ball feet.

The tea pot has a matching sugar bowl and cream jug both with strap handles and reeded rims.

The Tea set has hall marks for Glasgow, the year 1909-1910 and the maker's mark for R & W Sorley.

The tea pot is engraved underneath "Sorley Silversmith to H.M. the King Glasgow".

The tea set is in very good condition and is made from a heavy gauge of silver with a total weight including the ivory of 1,763g (62.2oz). (Circa 1909)
