A very early 20th century sterling silver military dress cartridge box.

The box has an engraved hinged cover and a silver V.R. cypher.

The box has hall marks for London, the year 1903 and the maker's mark for Carrington & Co (John Bodman Carrington).

The back of the box has a small engraving "Carrington & C Military Silversmiths, 130 Regent St W".

The box is in good condition. (Circa 1903)
