The New Nautilus Sugar Sifter

An early 20th century Victorian sterling silver sugar caster spoon.

The spoon is nautilus shell shaped with holes to allow sugar to escape.

The sifter has sterling silver hall marks for Birmingham, the year 1901 and the maker's mark for Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd.

The sifter comes with its black leather covered case that is silk and velvet lined and has "The New Nautilus Sugar Sifter" Pat No 17124 printed inside the lid.

The spoon is in excellent condition, the case has marks to the leather. (Circa 1901)
