William IV Sterling Silver Vinaigrette
An early 19th century William IV sterling silver hall marked vinaigrette.
The vinaigrette has the assay marks for Birmingham, the year 1837 and the maker's mark for Taylor & Perry.
The hall marks are inside the lid and interior in two places.
The vinaigrette is decorated with bright cut scrolling leaf decoration, the top of the lid has a shield in the centre bearing the initials 'R E' or 'E R'.
The interior has a silver gilt decoration and the vinaigrette is in very good condition. (Circa 1837)
