17th Century Fruit Wood Back Stool
A late 17th century small fruit wood 'Back Stool'.
The stool has four square legs joined by cross rails with pegged joints all around.
The back tapers and has a moulded edge to the inside of the horizontal rails.
The solid fruit wood seat has a moulded edge and is peg jointed.
The stool is a good colour with some wear to the edges and old, now dead, wood worm underneath. (Circa 1680)
