18th Century Brass Dial Grandfather Clock

An 18th century Georgian oak and walnut cased brass dial Grandfather clock.

The clock has an eight day movement that strikes the hour and the square dial has the maker's name 'Samuel Lomas, Poolton'.

The oak case has walnut quarter columns, hood columns and cross banding to the door and hood.

The flat top hood has a moulded cornice with dental moulding beneath.

The case is a very good original colour but is in un-restored condition.

The dial is 30.5cm (12 inches) square, the workings have been fully overhauled and come with a one year guarantee. (Circa 1780)
