A pair of 18th century style gesso and carved gilded wood girandoles or sconces.
The Chippendale design girandoles have a serpentine shaped shelf with scrolling acanthus supports and two candle sconces.
The shaped shelf has two metal brackets at the back to fasten to a wall.
The girandoles are in good condition with an historic visible crack in the gesso.
The candle sconces can be un-screwed from the back. (Circa 1910)
