A 19th century mahogany two tier buffet by Gillows of Lancaster.
The buffet has two tiers each made from a single piece of mahogany, the lower shelf has a low raised back and the top a raised gallery to three sides.
The buffet stands on a twin support platform base with reeded bun feet that have disguised casters.
The buffet is stamped 'Gillow' on a beam under the lower shelf.
The buffet is in good condition. (Circa 1850)
