19th Century Lion Jelly Mould
An unusual mid 19th century copper and tin lion jelly or mousse mould.
The mould is oval shaped with tapering sides and a recumbent lion on the top.
The seams are folded or rolled and the exterior tin has worn off the lion and the copper shows through.
The mould has no markings except the number F135 to the bottom edge.
The mould is in very good condition with some wear to the tin plating of the lion. (Circa 1850)
