A mid 19th century mahogany library bookcase.
The bookcase has an open shelf top and a two door cupboard base. The bookcase top is divided down the centre and has ten adjustable shelves which have a concave and reeded edge.
The cupboard base has a pair of doors with recessed panels and a moulded frame and the interior is divided down the centre with one adjustable shelf to each side.
The bookcase has recessed mould framed panels top and bottom to the outer frame.
The bookcase has been constructed from quality mahogany and is fitted with gilt brass lock hinges and door bolts and has a key.
The bookcase is in good original condition and is priced to have some sympathetic restoration. (Circa 1860)
