A late 19th to early 20th century Victorian mantle clock.

The clock has an amboyna wood case with an ebony edge and inlay.

The clock has a French eight day striking movement with a 'Marque Deposee' stamp on the back showing a letter 'M' in a wreath.

The clock strikes the hour and half hour on a coil metal gong and stands on four low brass bun feet.

The case is made from excellent quality timber and has good French works with a one year guarantee provided by Robert E Taylor & Son.
