A set of 19th century French technical drawing instruments.

The instruments are in an oak case veneered with rosewood with brass line inlay.

The box has a silk panel in the lid with "Compas Superieurs Brevetes S.G.D.G." printed on and the silk panel falls forward and a protractor is stored behind.

The lift out tray is velvet lined and holds assorted compass, pens and dividers made of brass.

The storage area below the tray has a ruler and a set square. (Circa 1870)
