Champlevé Enamel Four Glass Clock

A late 19th century four glass polished brass and champlevé enamel mantel clock.

The clock was made in Paris by Richard et Cie (founded in 1848) and the works are stamped R & Co Paris which we believe to be the retail stamp for the London branch of Richard et Cie at Cannon Street.

The works are eight day that strike the hour and half hour on a coiled gong.

The four glass case is decorated to the front with champlevé enamel that is repeated around the dial and the centre of the face.

The clock is in good, full working condition. (Circa 1890)
