A late 19th to early 20th century continental bentwood hat or hall stand.
The stand has an 'X' frame base lifted on low bun feet and four scroll supports for the circular stick stand.
The centre stalk comprises four pieces of turned wood bound together and at the top eight figure 'S' coat hooks with circular supports.
The hat stand is in good used condition, the stand has the slightest of bend which can be seen from some angles. (Circa 1900)
