A late 19th century to early 20th century unmarked continental porcelain group which is possibly German or French.
The porcelain group consists of a Gentleman artist with a pallet and brush to his left and holding a small bird cage.
The gentleman is holding in his right hand a small bird, is dressed in period robes and is wearing a feathered cap.
To his right is a lady, also in period dress resting her left arm on another cage.
The group shows signs of gilt decoration, which has rubbed off with time although overall this group is in exceptionally good condition.
This item would be an excellent gift idea and decorative in any room of the home. (Circa 1890)
