An early 18th century George II walnut chest of drawers.

The chest has two short drawers over three graduated long drawers and stands on bun feet.

The chest top is walnut veneered and cross banded with herring bone inlay.

The drawers are burr walnut veneered with a herring bone inlay to the front, are oak lined and above the drawers is an oak brushing slide.

The chest front has a bead frame surrounding the drawers with a walnut thumb mould to the underside of the top and above the bun feet.

The chest is in good condition but does have later alterations, the replaced 19th century brass drop handles and bun feet. (Circa 1730)
