Edwardian Burr Walnut Mantel Clock

An early 20th century Edwardian burr walnut cased mantel clock.

The clock has an eight day French works that strikes the hour and half hour on a coiled gong.

The works are stamped on the back with 'G.B & E' but we are unsure who the maker's mark is for.

The white enamel dial has black Arabic numbers, a brass bezel and a dome bevel glass.

The case is raised on flat brass bun feet and the front edge of the case has an ebony and boxwood chequered inlay.

The clock is in good condition and in full working order and comes with a 12 month guarantee provided by Robert Taylor & Son

The key holes have some minor chips to the edge. (Circa 1900)
