Edwardian Sterling Silver Basket & Spoon

An early 20th century Edwardian sterling silver sugar basket with a matching sifter spoon.

The basket and spoon have hall marks for London, the year 1908 and a maker's mark for Josiah Williams & Co.

The oval basket is pierced around the rim and repoussé embossed and stands on an oval base.

The matching sifter spoon has a heavily embossed handle, the bowl has a shaped edge and is pierced and gilded with a hall mark under the bowl.
