Edwardian Sterling Silver Dressing Mirror

An Edwardian sterling silver framed bevel edged dressing table mirror.

The oblong mirror is held in a wooden frame that is mounted with an elaborate embossed sterling silver front.

The embossed silver is slightly domed and is decorated with flowers, scrolling acanthus and has a vacant cartouche to the centre of the top.

The frame has hall marks for Birmingham, the year 1907 and an unclear maker's mark we believe to be for Henry Matthews.

The mirror has an integral folding support to the back that is covered in its original blue velvet that is now worn.

A very good mirror in good condition with some minor wear to the silver. (Circa 1907)
