Edwardian Walnut Window Settee

A late 19th to early 20th century walnut framed window seat or settee.

The seat has a wonderful turned and shaped walnut frame, the legs and central cross rail have an unusual spiral turning and carved ball tips to the feet.

The cross rail underneath is joined by two square and fluted curved rails.

The narrow upholstered seat has a shaped back and arms.

The settee is well made and in good condition, the upholstery is also in good condition and is old but not original.

Because it is narrow the seat would work well at the end of a bed, in a passageway or in a bay window. (Circa 1900)
