George II Mahogany Lamp Table

An 18th century George II mahogany tip top lamp table.

The table is constructed from wonderful Cuban mahogany, the table top has a very beautiful figured grain.

The top is almost square with a fluted edge and can be tipped by releasing the brass catch underneath.

The table has a tripod base with a turned baluster shaped pillar and three cabriole legs, the tips of the legs have a 'Knights Toe' shape and shaped pads underneath.

This very good 18th century table is made from excellent timber and in good condition.

The top has a couple of historic marks and a chip to the fluted edge. (Circa 1755)
