A Georgian mahogany Apothecary cabinet.
The cabinet has a pair of doors that are fitted on the inside to store bottles and has a brass military plate handle set into the top.
The interior has bottle compartments and two drawers, one holding a set of balance scales and weights and the other has storage for small bottles and jars.
The back of the cabinet has a disguised compartment with a sliding panel that will hold four bottles, these were for more poisonous liquids and powders.
The box is in good condition but is short of some bottles. (Circa 1800)
