George IV Mahogany Towel or Clothes Rail

 

An early 19th century George IV mahogany clothes or towel rail.

The pair of octagonal upright supports have three cross rails and turned knob finials.

The rail is in good useable condition. The underside of the platform feet has inset lead weights to help lower the centre of gravity. (Circa 1835)
