Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Bureau
A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany bureau with later marquetry, satinwood and box wood inlays.
The bureau has four graduated oak lined drawers that have pierced brass handles which are not original.
The drawer fronts are satinwood cross banded and have fan inlays in the corners.
The top and bureau flap are satinwood banded and fan inlaid, the centre of the flap has a marquetry inlaid urn.
The flap when opened rests on two pull out rests, the interior has five pigeon holes and nine drawers that have mahogany fronts, brass battle-axe handles and box wood inlays.
This attractive bureau is in good condition. (Circa 1800)
